Academics
Middle & Secondary Years
Classes VI to X
Building knowledge, skills and character
As subjects become more specialised, students are encouraged to think critically, explore their interests and apply what they learn. The focus is on conceptual understanding, practical work and all-round development, while preparing students progressively for the Class X Board examination.

Conceptual Learning
Strong foundations built on understanding
Critical Thinking
Analysing, questioning and solving problems
Subject Teachers
Specialist teaching from Class VI upwards
Practical Work
Laboratories, projects and fieldwork
Skill Development
Communication, teamwork and confidence
Board Preparation
Steady preparation for the Class X examination

Our Approach
Classroom teaching is carried by practical activities, projects and discussion, so that what is learned is understood rather than memorised. Every classroom carries an LED screen and digital content, and the science laboratories have separate workstations for Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Teachers work as facilitators — setting a problem going, questioning, and guiding students towards independent thinking and the habits of steady work.
Preparing for What Comes Next
Students are encouraged to recognise their strengths and explore their interests, so that the choice of stream at Class XI is made with some idea of where it leads.
Academic Focus
Classes VI to VIII study English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Punjabi and Hindi — the last two with grammar and composition as papers of their own — along with Computer. Classes IX and X follow the NCERT course in English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science and Punjabi, leading to the Class X Board examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
-

Classes IX & X
Board Examination Preparation
Academic expectations rise through the secondary years. Teachers work on conceptual clarity, regular practice and revision, and remedial classes are there for students who need more time with a topic.
The aim is not only to get a student through an examination, but to leave them understanding the subject well enough to choose their stream at Class XI with confidence.

Confident Learners, Responsible Citizens
The middle and secondary years are where a student stops being told what to think and starts working it out — with the knowledge, the habits and the confidence to carry that into whatever comes next.
